Day 1: Ho Chi Minh full day city tour (B/L/D)
- Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City in the morning flight.
- Meet your Tour guide and enjoy your full day tour around Ho Chi Minh City from downtown Saigon to Chinatown to get a general view of it as well as its history and culture with stops at:
- Reunification Palace (Ex-Presidential Palace) that was built in 1963 and is well-known as an outstanding example of 1960’s architecture.
- The War Remnants, the Jade Emperor Pagoda, passing by Notre Dame Cathedral (built in 1877).
- The General Post Office.
- Having lunch in a local restaurant.
- In the afternoon you will visit
- Thien Hau pagoda built in early 19th century.
- Chinatown.
- Ben Thanh market.
- With a stop for a while at a lacquer shop, you can buy some gifts for your friends, beloved relative.
- Dinner in a local restaurant.
- Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh city - Tay Ninh - Cu Chi tunnels (B/L/D
- Breakfast at your hotel.
- Morning transfer to Tay Ninh with the Great Cao Dai temple and see the noon mass .
- Lunch in Tay Ninh.
- Afternoon visit in Cu Chi - a fabulous tunnel.
- You will have an opportunity to get the unique experience of guerillas living and fighting underground during the war (a crawl through 50 -100 meters out 200 km of the tunnel system is unforgettable).
- Local rice paper workshops, nice paddy fields are pleasant sights on the way.
- Dinner in a local restaurant.
- Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh city – Cai Be – Vinh Long (B/L/D)
- Breakfast at your hotel, pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and drive to Cai Be in the heart of the Mekong Delta.
- On arrival, board a sampan for a cruise on the Mekong River to view the daily life of local people who work and play on the waterways of the Mekong Delta.
- The trip includes a visit to canal where the floating market at Cai Be takes place, and then to a family-run business producing rice paper and corn flakes of Vietnamese style - a key ingredient in Vietnamese cuisine.
- Lunch at local house set amongst fruit orchards and bonsai trees with a performance of traditional Vietnamese music accompanies the meal.
- Dinner in a local restaurant.
- Overnight in Can Tho city.
Day 4: Can Tho city – Ho Chi Minh city (B/L/D)
- Breakfast at Hotel.
- After breakfast we will visit the Cai Rang floating market, one of the three biggest in the Mekong Delta with the most interesting sights in the Delta is the floating markets and associated river life. The market is open all day but it is busiest from sunrise to about 9am.
- The main items sold there are farm products and specialties of Cai Rang Town, Chau Thanh District and neighboring areas.
- Lunch at local restaurant.
- Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.
- Dinner at local restaurant.
- Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 5: Ho Chi Minh city – departure (B/-/-)
- Breakfast at your hotel.
- Relax at your hotel or walking on the street near by your hotel.
- Pick up at your hotel and transfer to Ho Chi Minh’s airport for your flight back home.
