Hot air balloon tourism is increasingly expanding in Vietnam. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification, Dong Nai and Dak Lak provinces are ready to organize hot air balloon festivals to attract domestic and foreign tourists.

1. Dong Nai International Hot Air Balloon Festival 2025
For the first time, Vietnam will organize the largest hot air balloon festival ever. With the participation of more than 12 countries and 50 giant hot air balloons. The program will start with a spectacular high-altitude tethered hot air balloon performance of Level 7-8 hot air balloons in the first two days of the event. In addition, festival-goers can participate in the high-altitude tethered flight program, with 30-35 Level 1-2 hot air balloons every morning and afternoon during the festival. This special event will take place from April 26 to May 3, 2025 in Dong Nai, promising unforgettable memories and a space filled with joy, creativity and interesting discoveries.
2. Dak Lak Hot Air Balloon Festival
"Dak Lak Hot Air Balloon Festival 2025 - Flying over the Great Forest" takes place from May 1 to May 3 with 12 hot air balloons performing. Visitors have the opportunity to experience sunset and sunrise viewing packages in the middle of the great forest. This unique cultural event takes place at Buon Don Suspension Bridge Tourist Area - Island Village (Krong Na commune, Buon Don district). For the first time, visitors will fly up into the Central Highlands, witnessing with their own eyes Yok Don National Park with its vast dipterocarp forests, the majestic Serepok River, the rustic stilt houses hidden in the middle of the great forest and the vivid picture of the indigenous ethnic communities. Coming to this event, visitors will also experience camping in the middle of nature, enjoy culinary culture, exchange traditional music and many other activities.
