165km north of Hanoi, Tuyen Quang is a peaceful province with many natural landscapes and is a place that preserves historical memories of the Vietnamese revolution.
Known as a mountainous province in the North of Vietnam, Tuyen Quang is a land with many outstanding natural landscapes with many high mountains, vast primeval forests and two large winding rivers, Lo River and Gam River. With tourism potential that is not yet known to many people, Hanoi Green Tour would like to suggest some tourist destinations in Tuyen Quang for you to consider exploring.
Na Hang Eco-tourism Area
Na Hang Eco-tourism Area is the most charming landscape of Tuyen Quang. This is a tourist destination with clear blue lakes on high mountains. When you come here, you will feel like you are lost in a fairyland with charming and somewhat mysterious scenery. One of the experiences that you cannot miss when coming to Na Hang eco-tourism area is sitting on a boat on the lake and admiring the poetic and majestic mountain scenery.

Mo Waterfall
Mo Waterfall is located in Na Hang eco-tourism area. In addition to the name Mo Waterfall, this place is also called Pac Ban Waterfall by locals because it is located on the top of Pac Ban mountain. There are two ways to get to Mo Waterfall: by boat or by road.
By boat: If you want to take it easy and not spend much energy, you can go by boat.
On foot: The road leading to Mo Waterfall in Tuyen Quang has been paved so it is quite convenient. Along the way to the waterfall, there is a winding primeval forest that is very poetic.

Nam Me Waterfall
Nam Me Waterfall is also known as Me Waterfall, Me Stream. This waterfall originates from the majestic forest of Na Hang Nature Reserve and flows down to Hat Nghien mountain area. Nam Me Waterfall has up to 15 large waterfall levels. Between the large waterfalls are small waterfalls with a steady flow of water all year round. The scenery around the waterfall is quite majestic with overlapping mountains and green trees.

Khuoi Nhi Waterfall
Khuoi Nhi Waterfall with its majestic and impressive natural colors is a prominent destination in the Na Hang area. Considered the largest waterfall in Na Hang, Khuoi Nhi Waterfall is famous for many interesting tourist activities such as waterfall bathing and ziplining.

Phia Vai Cave Relic
Phia Vai Cave is an important archaeological site in the Na Hang Lake area. In 2005, archaeologists discovered primitive human remains here, proving the development of mankind through the ages. Visitors to Phia Vai Cave will be able to admire unique artifacts reflecting ancient culture.

Tan Trao Tourist Area
Tan Trao Tourist Area is located in the Tan Trao Special National Monument complex. This is a tourist destination bearing strong historical traces of Vietnam. Known as the 'Capital of the liberated zone', 'Capital of resistance', Tan Trao is a historical land associated with the years of resistance against French colonialism of the Vietnamese people.
 
Some special cuisines in Tuyen Quang

Lo River carp salad
This is the first dish to enjoy after arriving in Tuyen Quang. Fresh carp after being caught will be cleaned and processed into salad. A harmonious dish in both taste and sight, including the sweetness of the fish, the fragrant aroma of minced bones, the sourness of lemon and the spicy taste of fresh chili.

Steamed ke flower with meat
Steamed ke flower with meat is a typical dish of the Tay ethnic group. The ke flower has the shape of a small bell, the Tay people call it booc ke, the tree is a type of tree with a wide canopy and large leaves. After removing the pistil, wash it, stuff it with meat and eggs and steam it for about 15 minutes. The flowers bloom with soft, fatty, slightly bitter meat filling. Steamed meat with flowers is served hot, dipped in fish sauce.

Sticky rice cake with ant eggs
Ant eggs are processed by the Tay people as the filling of sticky rice cakes. The cake has the delicious taste of sticky rice, the fatty taste of ant eggs mixed with the smell of green onions and dill. Note, some people may have allergies when eating it, similar to allergies when drinking alcohol or eating seafood.

Buffalo skin salad
The Tay people in Lam Binh have turned buffalo skin into a specialty on the dinner table on special occasions. The buffalo skin is heated over a fire and then soaked in water. After being cleaned, it is boiled for 1.5 to 2 hours and then thinly sliced. The buffalo skin salad needs to be seasoned with spices and herbs such as peanuts, Vietnamese coriander, Vietnamese coriander, mac khen and banana flowers. The sweetness of buffalo skin, the richness of roasted peanuts, and the aroma of spices blend together to create a special dish.
